Park City Birthday Ski Trip

What a whirlwind, fun trip!  Justin and I went to Park City, Utah, for my belated birthday trip.  Every year we go on a trip for my birthday.  Typically we go to NYC, which we absolutely love! (Check out the blog on last year’s trip HERE!)  We decided to change things up a bit this year.  Since we had a few business meetings to attend to in Utah this week, we made it a work vacation!  Wow!  Highly recommend taking a ski trip to Utah this time of year.  It was absolutely magical!

We got into town mid afternoon on Friday.  We stayed at a gorgeous AirBNB right in Park City at the Westgate Resort.  Here’s the link to the exact condo we stayed in!  https://www.airbnb.com/l/5pl5deIQ  It was absolutely stunning.  The whole resort was decorated for Christmas.  It felt like we were in a Hallmark movie!  After settling into our room, we went to dinner because we were absolutely starving from all the traveling!

The Edge SteakHouse is located right in the resort.  We went there for dinner on Friday night. Our dinner was delicious!  We walked around and checked out more of the resort after dinner.  They have indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, and fitness center!  You can grab Starbucks and breakfast right downstairs.  They even had free valet parking!  Everything was top of the line, and all of the staff were awesome!  We truly loved this resort.

On Saturday Morning we got up early and headed for the slopes! We went to Deer Valley Resort.  It was very easy to rent our gear so do not feel like you have to bring yours!  They were all super friendly too.  The slopes were incredibly beautiful.  It was the perfect snowy day.  We did multiple runs and had a blast!  It had been awhile since we had been on skis but we absolutely loved it.  It was decided that we would definitely be coming back!!

For dinner on Saturday evening, we checked out Grappa.  It was Italian cuisine and so yum!!  The rustic, Italian country farmhouse atmosphere,  along with the breathtaking views, made it a memorable, romantic evening!

After checking out a local church on Sunday morning, we headed for brunch at the Stein Lodge.  Oh my!  It was so good!!  I definitely would go for their famous Sunday brunch!! Totally worth it, and the lodge is stunning!  Then we dashed out to ski a few runs before heading to dinner.  We had dinner on Saturday evening at Los Botellas.  It was also delicious, and I would recommend it when visiting this area!

We have visited Utah a few times now, and Cubby’s is a staple when we come.  It is so yummy, but also healthy!  We frequent there for lunch a lot when we are in this area!  There is literally nothing like it back at home.  Right now they have the BEST Turkey Butternut Soup.  It quite possibly is the most amazing thing i have ever tasted.  Seriously!  So good!!  Even Justin liked it!  I love getting it along with one of their salads.   Justin and I always get an order of their sweet potato fries to split!

Overall we had an amazing fun-filled weekend in Park City!   I would definitely recommend that you consider it for a vacation.  You cannot beat the amazing views.  Everywhere you look is stunning!   I would absolutely suggest renting a car in Utah.  Also you want to be sure it comes with AWD! Roads can be pretty snowy, and you definitely want to be able to get around.

I will link all ski gear, dinner outfits, etc below in case you need them!
