My Current Supplement Routine
Do you ever wonder what supplements you should be taking? Do you find it overwhelming to sift through and choose the supplements that are right for you or the best brands out there? I have been taking supplements for many years now. I have tried multiple brands and truly believe I have found the best out there!
Let me preface this to say, this is MY personal routine. These are the supplements that have helped me in my health journey. I am not a medical professional, but I love to share what has worked for me! If you have health issues or any questions if a supplement is right for you, please consult with your own personal physician. That being said, many women in my fitness group have seen amazing results with these products as well.
My supplements are the first thing I put in my body every day! I do not drink coffee or have breakfast beforehand. No, it does not make me nauseous taking them all on an empty stomach. If you do get nauseous, you can just take them with your breakfast! The reason I take them first is mainly so I don’t forget later in the day. Also, I like the good stuff being the first thing to hit my system in the morning.
For years I have started each morning with greens. After trying many different brands, I can honestly say the YU Earth & Ocean Greens are my favorite. The YU Greens have a very mild pineapple flavor. Honestly it is hard to tell that it is pineapple unless you already know it because the flavor is so mild. Very few of us get the proper amount of greens in our diets daily, so this supplement ensures that we get all the benefits as if we did!
I typically mix my YU Performance Reds in with my Greens. The Reds also have a multitude of benefits. The unique blend in the Performance Reds contains cardio-protective antioxidants, which is a non-stimulate product that can boost energy, improve endurance and increase performance. This can be beneficial whether you workout or not!
Next, I take my YU Probiotic. One reason I really love this probiotic is because it is also a prebiotic as well! It is two for one! The Protect Probiotic comes in a little sachet and is so simple. You just rip it open and dump it on your tongue, like a Pixie Stick. It tastes just like candy! So yum! It is also safe for kids 4 years old and up to take. My kids all take it every single morning. Everyone should be on a good daily probiotic.
My YU Trim Fit drink is one I highly recommend. This is the first product that I ever tried from YU and since then I’ve been hooked. The Trim Fit has really helped me in the past 18+ months with kicking my junk cravings and boosting my energy! I add a scoop to my 40 oz tumbler and sip on it usually twice a day! If you are sensitive to caffeine, I would recommend starting with a half of a scoop. Many have had great results with even just half of a scoop!
Finally, I wanted to share about what helps me to wind down at night when my brain does not want to turn off. I have been drinking a Turmeric latte before bed several nights a week.
